简介:李颂元,算力微电子学院特聘副教授、硕士生导师。毕业于浙江大学计算机科学与技术学院,工学博士。曾于中山大学电子与通信工程学院从事博士后研究。

李颂元博士长期从事人工智能与计算机系统交叉领域研究,研究方向涵盖计算机体系结构、操作系统、计算机视觉、具身智能、神经形态计算等课题。近年来在 ICLR、CVPR、ICCV 等国际顶级会议以及 TPAMI、TIP、IJCV 等权威期刊发表多篇论文,引用量逾千次。主持纵向及产业合作项目多项,累计立项经费逾千万元。

李颂元博士热爱教学指导工作,注重理论与实践并重,强调数学基础、系统能力与创新思维的协同发展,乐于与学生共同推导公式、分析原理、构建系统和验证想法,帮助学生建立从科学问题发现到工程实现落地的完整科研能力。近年来指导学生竞赛荣获海峡两岸暨港澳地区大学生计算机创新作品赛全国总决赛一等奖及创新奖,全国大学生数学建模竞赛广东赛区一等奖(优秀指导教师),美国大学生数学建模竞赛M奖等多项荣誉。指导本科生大创项目多次获评优秀结题。

李颂元博士的研究聚焦于具身智能和类脑计算,致力于构建从智能感知、决策规划到计算硬件的新一代智能系统。团队围绕纵置二轮车自主导航、多足机器人巡检、类脑计算芯片设计等方向开展研究,形成了从算法、系统到芯片的全链条研究特色,相关成果受到产业界的关注与合作支持。

Dr. Songyuan Li is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Computility Microelectronics. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Technology from Zhejiang University and previously conducted postdoctoral research at the School of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Sun Yat-sen University. He is fluent in English and Cantonese.

Dr. Li's research lies at the intersection of artificial intelligence and computer systems, spanning computer architecture, operating systems, computer vision, embodied intelligence, and neuromorphic computing. He has published papers in leading international conferences and journals, including ICLR, CVPR, ICCV, TPAMI, TIP, and IJCV, with over one thousand citations. He has led and participated in numerous government-funded and industry-sponsored research projects, with total funding exceeding RMB 10 million.

Passionate about teaching and mentorship, Dr. Li emphasizes the balanced development of mathematical foundations, systems thinking, and innovative problem-solving skills. He enjoys working closely with students to derive formulas, analyze principles, build systems, and validate ideas, helping them develop the complete research skill set from identifying scientific problems to implementing practical solutions. Under his supervision, students have received numerous awards, including the First Prize and Innovation Award at the Cross-Strait, Hong Kong and Macau College Student Computer Innovation Competition, First Prize in the Guangdong Division of the National Undergraduate Mathematical Contest in Modeling (with Dr. Li receiving the Outstanding Advisor Award), and the Meritorious Winner in the Mathematical Contest in Modeling (MCM). Undergraduate innovation projects supervised by Dr. Li have also been repeatedly recognized with Excellent Project Awards.

Dr. Li's current research focuses on embodied intelligence and brain-inspired computing. His team is dedicated to developing next-generation intelligent systems that span the entire stack from perception and decision-making to computing hardware. Current research topics include autonomous navigation for single-track two-wheeled robots, multi-legged robotic inspection systems, and neuromorphic chip design. By integrating algorithms, systems, and hardware, the team has established a distinctive full-stack research program that has attracted strong interest and support from industrial partners.

The laboratory encourages interdisciplinary exploration and does not require prior research experience from incoming students. Instead, curiosity, intellectual passion, and a commitment to continuous learning are highly valued. The team places strong emphasis on independent thinking, scientific rigor, and research judgment, while providing opportunities to participate in cutting-edge research projects, academic competitions, international exchanges, and industry collaborations. Students who are passionate about science, eager to explore new ideas, and willing to take on challenging problems are warmly welcome to join the team and help push the boundaries of knowledge and technology.
